Islamabad; Special Assistant to the Prime Minister of Health Dr. Zafar Mirza says 78% of the total cases so far in Pakistan were from Iran, observation has revealed that Of the cases, 63% are male and 37% female, while 78% of the total cases were from Iran.
Talking to the media in Islamabad, Dr Zafar Mirza said that the Corona virus has spread in 195 countries, there are more than 3 million cases of which over one lakh have recovered.
The total number of cases in Pakistan at present is 892 out of which 89 cases have been reported in the last 24 hours. He said that if viewed at the regional level, one in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, 110 in Balochistan, 80 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 15 in Islamabad, 15 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
38 cases have been reported in Tunkha, 249 in Punjab and 399 in Sindh. Dr Zafar Mirza said that observation has revealed that 63% of the cases are males and 37% females while 78 of the total cases have been reported.
Percentage patients were coming from Iran. They said that so far 6 patients were from Corona The virus has recovered while only 5 of all the patients under treatment are in critical condition.
He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan is going to announce important economic assistance to the people in view of the Corona virus shortly. He said that the government is trying to prevent the disease through all its resources and contacts.
