The Uber-premium smartphone segment ;
(Rs 1 lakh and above) grew by 23 per cent in 2019 in the country, indicating that more money has been spent on ambitious India smartphones.
According to data from CMR’s ‘Mobile Handset Market Review Report’, Apple, which manufactures the Uber-premium segment in India, contributed 85 percent to shipments with the iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max.
Apple’s shipment calendar increased five percent in calendar year 2019. The iPhone 11 Pro Max accounts for 42 percent of shipments a year.

Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max (512 GB) is worth Rs 1,41,900 in gold color, while Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max (256 GB) is worth Rs 1,21,900.
Samsung has contributed 15 per cent of shipments in 2019 to this super premium segment.
