Pakistani Student’s Achievement : Pakistani industrial designing student, Aqsa Ajmal, designed a modern sewing machine for the visually impaired, which was included in the final 6 of the Lexus Design Award 2020. Later, Aqsa Ajmal won the Lexus Design Award at a ceremony in Milan, Italy.
Aqsa is a student at the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) and has developed a sewing machine called ‘pursuant’, which enables women and women with impaired vision to increase their jobs.
Aqsa’s sewing machine is easy to use and includes all the features that make it possible for the poor and affected people to work without interruption. He was blind in a closet accident that halted his studies. Braille education systems in Pakistan are so expensive that they start thinking about their friends and they are like and design this.
