Pak-Afghan Border in Chaman Closed For a Week Due to Corona Virus Threat

Corona Virus Threat: The  Pak-Afghan border in Chaman, Balochistan, has been closed for a week due to the threat of the Corona virus.

The closure of the Pak-Afghan border has suspended all transportation and trade activities, including NATO supplies and Afghan transit.

According to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), the Federal Ministry of Interior has decided to close the Chaman border in the wake of a possible outbreak of the Corona virus.

The Pak-Iran border has also been closed for nine days due to the Corona virus. Pakistani pilgrims returning from Iran have been transferred to Pakistan House in Quarantina. According to DC Chaggi, the screening of all visitors has been completed and no signs of corona virus have been detected in any of them. It is clear that 4 cases of Corona virus have been reported in Pakistan.
