A few months after the launch of Nokia C1, the series smartphone is going to make a comeback. The C1 was launched in December 2019 and brought back the Nokia C1-01 feature phone.
The new Nokia C2 is yet to be confirmed. However, according to a report, HMD Global, the parent company of Nokia, is currently considering equipping the phone with 4G capabilities. The company can also bundle in a Unisoc processor for the same.
The design of Nokia C2 can be similar to Nokia C1. But it will be advanced. The Nokia C1 was equipped with a 5-megapixel rear camera. This phone will be powered by Android 9 Pie.
The phone also has 1GB RAM, 3G support and 2,500mAh battery. In addition, the Nokia C1 was available in two color variants, which is something that we are hoping to change with the Nokia C2.
- HMD Global may launch new Nokia smartphones on 19 March
- Honor 9X Pro has triple cameras in the rear
- Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro Lunched with a 108 Megapixel Camera
The Nokia C2 smartphone could have been launched at the MWC 2020 event in Barcelona, Spain but the event was canceled due to the threat of coronovirus outbreaks.
Other Nokia phones that were to be launched with the Nokia C2 included Nokia 8.2 5G, Nokia 5.2 and Nokia 1.3 by HMB Global.
While the Nokia 8.2 5G was rumored to feature a polled or LCD panel with Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 SoC, the Nokia 5.2 is expected to feature the Snapdragon 632 SoC.
The price of Nokia C1 is currently Rs 4,000. This is a possible indicator that the new Nokia C2 will be priced around the same bracket. With better design and some better specifications, we can expect pricing between Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,000 bracket.
