Improvement in air quality from lock down in Karachi

 KARACHI: The city of Quaid has been locked down due to the Corona virus, which has improved air quality.

Karachi has ranked 27th in the air quality index in cities around the world after the lockdown.

According to the Air Quality Index, the rate of inappropriate content in Karachi atmosphere has risen to 63%.

It may be recalled that the lockdown announced by the Sindh government was launched last night as a precautionary measure to be taken to prevent the outbreak of the Corona virus.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah announced the lockdown in the province from March 12 at 12 noon.

According to the news, citizens of Sindh province will not be able to leave the house without need for the next 15 days. In the meantime, it will be possible to get out for medical treatment, including law enforcement.

According to the News, only the closest relatives will attend the funeral prayer under the Sindh Interior Department and it is necessary to get the relevant SHO’s permission in advance for the funeral prayer.
