The Huawei P40 Series is one of the most awaited sets of smartphones coming this year. Now the CEO of Huawei Consumer Business, Yu Chengdong indicated that the device will be launched in March. Information from GizChina has revealed that the phone may be launched on March 26.
According to the reports of mydrivers.com through GizChina, this information has been received. However, there is no official information from the company yet. The Huawei P40 series will be launched in select markets outside China as well. Huawei launched the P30 series in March last year and it was also launched on 26 March itself.
In the Huawei P40 series, we can see three variants. Which include P40, P40 Pro and P40 Lite. The punch-hole full-screen design will be used on the smartphone. The P40 and P40 Lite will feature flat screens, but the Huawei P40 Pro may feature a curved bezel-less screen.

Huawei P40 Pro Leak has a 6.5-6.7 inch AMOLED display with 2K resolution. Huawei’s in-house Kirin 990 SoC has been used in it. Along with this, there will be 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. There will be a 4,000mAh battery with fast charging to back up the device. Recently surfaced renders have a dual selfie camera on the front, with a punch-hole display.
Apart from this, CEO Richard Yu recently also stated that the P40 series will work on the company’s own HarmonyOS instead of Google’s Android. He also confirmed that HarmonyOS is now ready for smartphones. In addition, Yu also revealed that Huawei is considering selling its Kirin processor to other companies such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and robotics.
