Sundar Pichai, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Google, Monday announced an investment of Rs 75,000 crore in the next five-seven years in India. The company will make this investment through the ‘Google For India Digitization Fund’. 

Pichai, who is of Indian origin, while addressing the ‘ Google for India 2020 ‘ program, said that the company’s announcement shows the company’s confidence in India’s future and its digital economy. He said that our investment will be focused on four major areas of digitization of India. This includes providing affordable access and information in every language to every Indian, creating new products and services as per the needs of India, empowering businesses for digital transformation, and Artificial for social wellbeing in areas such as health, education, and agriculture. Google Will Train 10 Lakh Teachers

Google has partnered with the Center Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Skill Education and Training. With this partnership, Google will train teachers and schools for digital. Google said that it will train 10 lakh teachers of 22,000 schools in the country. This training will be done for digitization during online and classroom teasing which will be held by the end of this year. Google has made a budget of 1 million dollars (about 7.51 crore rupees) to train the school teasers.

Prime Minister talked to Sundar Pichai

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday spoke to Google’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Sundar Pichai and expressed happiness over the efforts being made by this world-renowned company to strengthen education, digital India, and digital payments.

The Prime Minister tweeted, “This morning I had a very profitable conversation with Sundar Pichai. We had discussions on many topics, especially in relation to harnessing the power of technology to bring changes in the lives of Indian farmers, youth, and entrepreneurs. ” Apart from culture, the challenges arising due to this epidemic in areas like sports were also discussed with Pichai.

Sundar Pichai of Indian origin became the CEO of Google Prior to this, he was a Senior Vice President in the company. Born in Chennai in 1972, Sundar Pichai’s original name is Pichai Sundararajan, but he is known as Sundar Pichai.
