Xiaomi launched the new Mi Band 5 in the home market China. This fitness trekker is the successor of Mi Band 4 launched by the company last year. Xiaomi has shared information through its global Twitter account that the new fitness trekker Mi Smart Band 5 will be launched globally in July. Now new information is coming about the global variants of Mi Band 5. Much information has been revealed about the Global Edition of Fitness Bend. Xiaomi has launched two variants of Mi Band 5 in the home market China. Mi Band 5 has been introduced with NFC support and non-NFC support. Their code names are “Kongming” and “Kongming L” respectively. The image of the retail box of the global variant has revealed that the Mi Band 5 can be introduced without the NFC, SpO2 sensor, and Alexa voice assistant. Xiaomi can also launch Mi Smart Band 5 in India as a global market. Along with this, the company can introduce the new fitness bend with SpO2 sensor and Alexa support. Along with this, the company is also planning to launch Mi Smart Band 5 Pro in the European market. 

This is the second time it has been spotted last week. Not much information has been revealed about the Pro version of Mi Band 5 at the moment. The code name of this fitness band is “Kongming Pro” and it can be offered with NFC support. 

Xiaomi Mi Band 5 Price and Features

Xiaomi Mi Band 5 has been introduced in China for a price of RMB 189. The price in Indian rupees is 2,025 rupees. One of its variants comes with NFC support, which costs RMB 229. In Indian rupees, this price is around Rs 2,500. It has been introduced with four different color straps. These include Black, Green, Yellow, and Red color options.

The Mi Band 5 has a 1.3-inch display. Earlier, the  Mi Band 4 had a 0.95-inch display. The display of this band is quite brides which can be easily seen even in the light of sunlight. The new band has been introduced with the new magnetic charging system.

The tracking system has also been improved in the Mi Band 5. You have 11 professional sport modes in the new band. Apart from this, a special feature has been given for ladies which gives them the option of period tracking.
