Oppo is reportedly to launch its much-awaited Find X2 smartphone on 6 March. For this, the company is hosting a new launch event, where this phone can be launched.
Earlier, the company planned to announce the phone before MWC Barcelona 2020.However, due to concerns over coronoviruses, the entire event was canceled and the company said it would launch Find X2 in the next few days.
The Find X2 is expected to have the same design as the previous Find X. A few days ago a Weibo user from China has shared some details. Oppo has worked with Sony to develop a custom image sensor, the Sony IMX689.
It will come with 48-megapixel resolution, and 1 / 1.3-inch sensor size. It will be larger than the Sony IMX600 we have seen on the Mate 30 Pro. The secondary camera will be a Sony IMX708 sensor with an ultra-wide angle lens.
The report states that there will also be a 13-megapixel telephoto lens with support for 5X hybrid optical zoom. Its have a 32-megapixel IMX616 Sony sensor. The display and chipset Oppo Find X2 will include a Quad HD + display What’s more, the display will be curved at the edges at 80 degrees. Under the hood, the smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC paired with a Snapdragon X55 5G modem.The smartphone is also likely to include 50W wireless charging support.
