Concerns over Corona virus, Punjab government’s decision to shut down Lahore, Rawalpindi and Multan metro bus services while passenger buses will be disinfected.

A meeting was held at the camp office chaired by Chief Secretary Punjab Major (R) Azam Suleiman Khan to review the steps taken to prevent Corona virus in the province. Senior Member Board of Review, Chairman Planning and Development, Additional Chief Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary Home and Commissioner Lahore participated in the meeting while other Divisional Commissioners participated in the video link. Order to shut down Metro Bus Service in Multan The participants of the meeting were briefed that the provision of personal protection equipment for hospitals in various districts would be started from today to seek help from the cellular data record to ascertain the social connections of Corona patients while the department was equipped with social welfare medical facilities. It was also decided to send 117 mobile medical vans to the districts.
