Significantly, 120 million smartphones are made in this plant of Samsung every year. The company has currently closed it from 23 March to 25 March and the company has sent its employees to Work from Home.
Apart from Samsung, there are also plants of Oppo, Vivo, and LG in India, which companies are closing for some time. The Uttar Pradesh government has also announced the lockdown and commercial activities will also be closed during this period.
Since most of the companies have plants in Noida and Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh, work will be affected there too. At present, these companies have shut down till March 25, but given the situation, the company can extend it further.
